REFLECTIVE

Are GLINT Reflective products a legal replacement for regular plastic reflectors?

Depending on where you live, GLINT Reflective can be considered as a valid remplacement. Please refer to your local legislation for details regarding the specific law in your area.

Can GLINT Reflective products replace my bicycle lights?

No. GLINT Reflective vinyls are not design to replace your bicycle lights. We think both products are complementary. But unlike regular lights, GLINT Reflective vinyls can’t be stolen and don’t have to be removed to be recharged.

Do I have to use all stickers?

Our kits are designed to provide enough stickers regardless of the shape or the size of your bicycle. It’s up to you to install as many as you seem fit. You can always refer to the products pages for suggested placement. But don’t let that stop you, be creative!

I don’t see my stickers lighting up when I ride my bike, why?

Reflective material, by definition, reflects light back to its original source. Automotive headlights are designed in such a way to make the light reflect to the driver’s eyes. That’s how road signs work at night.

Try sitting in your car facing your bicycle. You can also use the camera on your phone with the flash activated. We think you will be impressed with the results.

Which color should I choose?

Many people choose colours similar to their bicycle. Black vinyl can we barely visible during the day on a black frame but reflects light extremely well at night. Others have used contrasting color to improve the look of your bike. It’s up to you!

Could I sticks my vinyls to any surface?

GLINT Reflective vinyls can be apply to any bike material such as carbon fiber, aluminium, steel or titanium. You can also apply your vinyls to plastics and others none-porous surfaces.
